Check out some old 19th-century Welsh cottages and related sites in Coulstown and Delta, PA! These were the homes of Welsh quarrymen and slate splitters and their families. The Welsh were some of the world's most experienced and talented "slaters," and beginning in 1845 were enticed to come to this little Pennsylvania/Maryland border town to work the Peach Bottom slate deposits. Afterwards we will be having a spot of Tea at the Tea Trolley!
